You love your Santa Clarita community and want to give back but it can be hard to fit in the time or money required to make a real difference. Giving blood is one of the easiest and most effective ways to help others close to you. With a single unit of blood donation you can save up to four lives. With this in mind, Comfort Keepers is now teaming up with the American Red Cross to
host our annual “Give Life” blood drive that will collect units of blood that will all be used to save lives right here in the Santa Clarita community. When you donate with us you could very well be saving a neighbor, friend or loved one right in your area!
Location and Requirements
The event will be held on Friday, February 27th from 12:00 p.m. until 6:15 p.m. Giving blood is a fast and easy way to help our community and save lives. You can sign up today if you meet these simple requirements:
- Are 17 or older.
- Have a valid photo ID.
- Weigh at least 110 pounds.
- Are in good health.
- Have not had a tattoo in the last year.
You can make the process easier by wearing sleeves that are easy to roll up and by making sure to hydrate well before coming in.
