What Happens When My Comfort Keeper Goes On Vacation Or Becomes Ill?

If you are receiving in-home care, you rely on those services.  If the caregiver gets ill or goes out of town for a vacation or any other reason, you may be concerned about what will happen to you while they are gone.  You want the assurance that you will continue to receive the care that you really need.

At Comfort Keepers we are prepared for this type of problem.  We have many in-home care specialists that can step in and take over when your regular caregiver is not available.  Our attitude is to make sure that our care managers are highly trained and that we know your needs.  The care managers train the staff on how to meet the needs of the patients.  We make sure that each staff member is reporting to his or her manager about the care that their patients are receiving.  This allows the care manager to provide your substitute care specialist with all the information they need to provide you with the care you expect.  The transition is designed to be smooth and problem free.

You should receive the same quality of care from your substitute Comfort Keeper that you do from your regular care specialist.  When your caregiver returns, they will transition back into providing you with the care you are used to.  You never need to worry that you won’t receive the same high quality care from any of our care specialists.
