Comfort Keepers and Santa Clarita Food Pantry Helping Seniors
Comfort Keepers actively works to collect food items to stop senior hunger in the Santa Clarita area. This effort is made on both a local and national level in an effort to reduce the number of hungry seniors in our community. We are always taking donations of food and if you have the resources to donate please drop the items off and we will be sure they make it to the appropriate Santa Clarita Food Pantry / SCV Food Pantry.
With the number of elderly adults growing with each passing year the need for assistance and programs such as the stop senior hunger initiative created by Comfort Keepers is necessary. The fact is that there are statistics that make certain seniors more susceptible to hunger than others; however, there are seniors across the nation that needs assistance, which is exactly what we offer.
Food insecurity is something that no person should have to deal with, including seniors. With our efforts we are working to ensure that every senior has a warm meal each and every day.
Once you donate the food items at Comfort Keepers we will distribute the food to the appropriate Santa Clarita Food Pantry / SCV Food Pantry and ensure that it reaches a senior that needs it.
Comfort Keepers offers you and your family in home care solutions for your senior. We also work to ensure that no senior goes hungry by supporting the local food pantries in Santa Clarita. We would love for you to join our efforts in donating food; all you have to do is drop it off and we will do the rest!
